Description:
This hike has easy access and is great for the entire family. Several trail systems are available to provide a variety of trekking experiences.
This two or four hour hike will take you up into the nearby canyons where the views are spectacular. Come prepared to catch the Sonoran Desert at its best.
Catalina State Park sits at an elevation of 3,000 feet (910 m), but varies dramatically with high ridges and low river beds.
Distance: 1 to 3 miles
Elevation Gain: 350 feet
Duration: 2 hours or 4 hours
Difficulty: Level 1 (Easy going)
